Suzanne Minassian, Product Manager for Lotus Connection, provides a nice 10 minutes video tutorial about Activities, one of the five services available in Lotus Connections.
"Organize work around the activities people do, rather than the tools they use"
One of the most important things (in my opinion) that the demo mentions, is templates. Any activity can be based on a template, so that if a business process has already been created, you don't need to duplicate the effort and create it again.
