I've got an idea, let's put three people in a circle. ;-)
Know of any others that look similar?

    Alan,

    I read with interest your post contained in the link below:

    { Link }

    I have used Lotus Notes ever since ccMail, & have just upgraded to Lotus Notes 8.5, & I also have Domino Designer 8.5.

    In previous versions of Notes, I have been able to successfully make changes to the design of folders or views by editing the folders & column properties in Designer, to change colour of unread mail, font for column headings & column heading names, width etc.

    However, this time around in 8.5, whilst I appear to make all the same type of changes when using designer (they show up correctly in the review panes), when I save the changes & go back to Notes, only column heading names, width actually change, while in particular, the colour of unread mail & font for column headings DO NOT actually change. Very frustrating.

    Maybe you might be able to help explain why this isn't happening as I would expect.

    Thanks & best regards

    Tom

    PS Have searched the hard drive, looking in hidden file locations, I can't find the notes.css file; and anyway, if possible, I'd prefer to make the changes through designer.
